Individual Business Coaching Process

An initial telephone conversation or meeting will identify the type of business coaching that is required and following this the first session is arranged. This is to ensure that the sponsor and coachee are happy to proceed and fully understand the contracting requirements.

Some clients like to interview the coach briefly before agreeing to proceed. Often this interview extends into a first session; an hour or so is put aside to give the opportunity for the interview to extend to a first session, if this seems appropriate. A further six sessions are usually booked at that time. A typical guideline might be:

  • The coaching sponsor will give a confidential overview of requirements, along with any psychometric data if relevant. A feedback structure is agreed and will be presented to the client at the first session.
  • Initial session with client to agree outcomes and contract.
  • Five further sessions over an 8-12-week period.
  • Phone coaching and free email support offered.
  • Final session where outcomes are measured and contract is concluded. The coach and client agree the form of feedback to be given and present this as required.
  • Ad hoc coaching provided as required.

Group Coaching Process

An initital  meeting is the first step to design and agree a programme of coaching and training. This ensures that all learning and change is transferred back into the business and that our approach matches the existing development process of the  organisation.

Team Coaching

Team dynamics are constantly evolving and changing, so it is essential that the team reaches a high level of performance quickly.

The Tuckman Team development model of “forming, storming, norming and performing” is part of the team creation process; Resilience team coaching sessions move a team rapidly through the stages and provide them with the tools to recognise where they are stuck and act to move forward.

Individual business coaching for the team members can also be part of the offering so that Individuals within the team are developed and grow as the team becomes more cohesive.  Psychometric tests such as Strengths Deployment Inventory (SDI), Myers Briggs (MBTI) and Firo (B) can all be deployed where appropriate to support learning and change.

What is your purpose?

  • What excites or drives you?

What is your impact in business or in life?

Where are you headed? How will you know when you have arrived?

Identifying our purpose in life for some is a huge undertaking and is often a life’s journey, for some its simply a process to go through and the realization of what your purpose is, can be transformational not only to you but your business.

I started Resilience Coaching with the intention of helping people start out on that voyage of self-discovery, of being curious not only to explore where you want to be, but also the things that have knocked you back and stopped you.

My purpose in life is to serve you to the best of my ability as a partner on your journey so that you can unlock your potential and realize your ambitions by following your purpose.
